Privacy policy
Last updated: 25 September 2026
Skin Therapeutics Clinic ("we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting any personal and medical information you share with us, whether by phone, WhatsApp, or in person at the clinic. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Information we collect
- When you contact us: your name, phone number, and anything you choose to tell us about your concern when you call, send a WhatsApp message, or email.
- When you visit the clinic: contact details, relevant medical history, examination and treatment records, and, with your consent, clinical photographs.
- When you browse this website: we do not ask you to create an account or fill in any form. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
We use your information only to schedule appointments, provide and follow up on your care, keep the medical records we are required to keep, and reply to your questions. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your consent
By contacting us or booking an appointment, you consent to us using your information for these purposes. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, although we may still need to keep some records where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
Your information is seen only by the doctor and clinic staff involved in your care. We share it outside the clinic only when needed for your treatment (for example, with a laboratory), when the law requires it, or with your consent. This website also relies on a few outside services, each with its own privacy policy:
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there.
- Google Maps, which shows our clinic locations on the contact page.
- Our website hosting provider, which stores the site and its server logs.
Cookies
The public website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookies set are strictly necessary ones for the clinic's own staff login area.
How long we keep it
We keep medical records for as long as needed for your care and for the period required by applicable medical and legal rules. Other messages and enquiries are kept only as long as they are useful for arranging your care.
How we protect it
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, and limit access to people who need it for your care.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or update information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- erase information we no longer need to keep, subject to legal record-keeping duties;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
Children
For patients under 18, we collect and use personal information with the consent of a parent or guardian.
